Lough Ree Yacht Club opened a new clubhouse in 2005. The clubhouse has a large modern bar with vistas of Lough Ree and a large function room with a dining capacity of 150 seated guests.The large function room is designed to be extended with a marquee, thus at least doubling the seating capacity. A large patio with tables, chairs and BBQ facilities surrounds the clubhouse and provides panoramic views of the lake. The club has extensive shower facilities and changing rooms including private parent and child shower/toilet rooms. A second large function room with a capacity for 100 people is located on the site over the boathouse, this room has multifunction capabilities. Extensive camping and caravan facilities are available on site for visiting caravans/tents.  There will be a nominal charge for camping. Electricity and water available.
